What happens after you place your order?
When you're trusting us with something as precious as ashes, hair or fur, we know you'll want to feel confident about every part of the process.
That's why we've made ordering your memorial jewellery straightforward, with clear guidance from us along the way.
1. Find the piece that's right for you
Take your time choosing from our collection of pendants, rings, bracelets, charms and pet memorial jewellery.
Many of our designs can be personalised with your chosen colour, size or engraving, allowing you to create something that's uniquely connected to your loved one.
2. We'll tell you exactly what we need
After your order, we'll provide everything you need to prepare your inclusion.
You don't need to send a large quantity — a tiny amount is often all we require. We can work with cremation ashes, hair, pet fur and other meaningful items, depending on the design you've chosen.
Not sure what to send or how to package it?
Just ask us. We're always happy to help.
3. Your inclusion stays with your order
We know how important it is to know where your loved one's ashes or other keepsake is at all times.
Your inclusion is carefully labelled and securely stored with your order until it is needed during the making process.
We work on memorial orders individually rather than treating them like ordinary jewellery orders.
4. Your jewellery is individually handcrafted
Your chosen inclusion is carefully incorporated into your jewellery by hand.
Our memorial stones are made individually, so variations in colour, pattern and placement are part of what makes your piece yours.
You aren't receiving a mass-produced item — you're receiving a one-off memorial created specifically for you.
5. Before it leaves us
Once your jewellery is complete, we carefully inspect and polish it before preparing it for dispatch.
Your jewellery is presented in its Keepsake packaging, together with your Certificate of Authenticity and care information.
Any suitable unused inclusion is returned to you, so you can keep it safely.
We then send your finished jewellery by tracked UK delivery, with our current turnaround time clearly communicated to you.
And we're here throughout
We know that ordering memorial jewellery can bring up questions — sometimes lots of them.
Please don't ever worry about asking.
Whether you contact us by email, Facebook or live chat, we'll personally help wherever we can.

How does Keepsake Memorial Jewellery work?
How do I send my loved ones ashes/hair to you?
We only need a small amount of ashes/hair (teaspoon). Please do not send all of the ashes/hair, we suggest you safeguard the rest in the very unlikely event the package should go astray.
We recommend that you send your ashes/hair to us via recorded delivery, that way you can track your parcel should you need to.
All ashes and hair are treated with respect and dignity, and will be kept sealed until ready to use.
Please post the ashes/hair to Keepsake Memorial Jewellery, 287 Holcombe Road, Rossendale, Lancashire, BB4 4NP, or you can drop off if local.
Alternatively, ask for a collection pack, there is an option when placing your order. This will be sent out first class free of charge.
All unused ashes/hair will be returned to you along with your item of jewellery via Royal Mail Signed and Tracked Service.
Will I be able to see my loved ones ashes in my jewellery?
You have the option to choose whether you want the ashes/hair visible or hidden in the jewellery. You should use the dropdown boxes on the product to select your requirements when placing your order.
I would like to buy a piece of keepsake jewellery as a gift, how is best to do that?
A piece of bespoke memorial jewellery can be a very personal choice therefore we recommend purchasing one of our E Vouchers, so that the recipient can make their own choices.
When you purchase an E Voucher, a unique code will be emailed to you or the recipient immediately so they can use their gift straight away.
How do I care for my memorial jewellery?
Caring for your jewellery is important to maintain its beauty. Avoid contact with chemicals such as household cleaners, chlorine and cosmetics. These substances can cause tarnishing and damage. When not wearing, store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, preferably in a jewellery box, this helps prevent scratches and oxidation. Regularly clean your jewellery with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any tarnish or dirt. For a deeper clean, use a mild soap solution and warm water and dry thoroughly. Avoid any abrasive materials that could scratch the surface. Although your jewellery is durable, avoid wearing your jewellery during activities that may cause physical damage or expose it to harsh conditions, such as swimming, gardening, or heavy lifting.
How do I send a photograph for my locket?
Once you have placed your order, please email us the photograph to sales@keepsakememorialjewellery.co.uk, stating your name and order number and we will do the rest.
How long will delivery take?
All orders will be processed within 7 - 10 days from receipt of the inclusions, with the exception of made to order items. If you need your order faster, please get in touch before placing your order.
